Entrepreneurial cooperation as a network of the region
The Kaufmannschaft zu Lübeck is the long-established association of entrepreneurs and executives in the Lübeck region.
Since the 12th century, it has been entrepreneurs with vision and a sense of what is important who, as members of the merchant companies and today's Kaufmannschaft zu Lübeck, have successfully expanded the network of business people in the region.
In doing so, tradition is combined with modernity and the ideal of the "honorable merchant" is filled with life time and again.
The goals of the Kaufmannschaft are to strengthen the economy in the Lübeck region by advising the Hanseatic City of Lübeck and the surrounding counties in economic matters, to expand and support the network of entrepreneurs, to promote, expand and support economic knowledge in schools and among trainees, as well as networking through the honorary commitment of its members.
