Just a stone's throw away from Lübeck's Old Town, Lübeck's most beautiful daughter invites you to take a wonderful walk on the beach and have some sailing fun after a successful conference day. Here you can enjoy the day with a fresh breeze from the Baltic Sea, watch the ships sail in and out, relax in a wicker beach chair and be enchanted by the picturesque scenery. Take a leisurely stroll along the Vorderreihe and enjoy a delicious fish sandwich in the fishing harbour, or learn about Travemünde's glorious history as a seaside resort in the seaside resort museum. The old bailiwick and historic lighthouse are reminders of Travemünde's beginnings as a small fishing town, founded 825 years ago as a fortress at the mouth of the River Trave.
